As our state representative, Kara Hope is working to improve the lives of families, children and seniors here in Holt and South Lansing. Kara is focused on:
- Stronger schools for our kids: Kara is committed to strengthening our public schools and giving educators the resources they need to help our children fulfill their full potential. Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their family income, race or where they live.
- Helping working families get ahead: Kara is helping those Michiganders who work hard but lack paid sick leave, adequate unemployment benefits, health care and more. Kara believes that as Michigan rebuilds, we must protect working people — not just the wealthiest individuals and corporations.
- Fighting for equity and justice: Kara is committed to dismantling racism, eliminating discrimination against marginalized people, and protecting abortion and reproductive rights.
